MRI technician / Nurse vacancy

We are seeking an additional team member to join our MRI and nursing team at Bell Equine. The position involves running and assisting with MRI scans as well as equine nursing. The balance of time spent on MRI or equine nursing can be tailored according to the interests of the applicant and needs of the team. The role can be full or part time (minimum 16 hours per week).

The ideal applicant will need to have:

  • Excellent horse handling skills, ideally in a veterinary environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to provide the highest standards of client service and patient care.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • RVN/EVN qualification and experience of the Hallmarq MRI scanning system are an advantage but are not essential.

Bell Equine is a large equine hospital in the heart of Kent with a friendly team, excellent facilities and a busy caseload. The standing MRI unit was installed in 2002 as the first of its kind in the world. We have performed over 4000 scans and continue to scan hundreds of horses each year. We pride ourselves on the quality and efficiency of our MRI scans and our dedicated team of imaging specialists.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
