First Aid Talk & Redwings Evening

Back by popular demand .....

Due to such demand for our previous Equine First talks, we shall be holding another talk on Equine First Aid in conjunction with our evening with Redwings on 23rd May 2019 at Hadlow College Animal Management Centre.

We will cover what to do in various emergency situations, from colics to eye injuries; from wounds to horse's stuck in ditches. We will advise when situations warrant calling a vet immediately and above all, how to make sure you do not put yourself or horse in any further danger when dealing with various emergency situations.

A panel of vets will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about equine first aid or any other veterinary problems. We will also be joined by vets from Redwings who will introduce the award winning 'Stamp out Strangles' campaign and be answering your questions on infectious diseases and how to keep our horses safe with practical bio-security advice.

The evening is free but we ask for a donation of £5p/p to confirm your place and 100% of proceeds will be going to Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Places are limited and tickets are on a first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Call 01622 813700 or email reception to reserve your place.
