Casualty management training

Ambulatory vet Alex Baldwin has just returned from undertaking a 2-day Casualty Management course held at Aintree Racecourse.

The two day course run by the Association of Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons covers trauma management, emergency scenarios, team work with other emergency services such as ambulance services, splinting of fractures, wound management and much more.

This training is required for all vets working at racecourses and point-to-points and this additional qualification is held by several of the BELL veterinary team.
