4 days of CPD hosted by BELL

Wednesday 11th April saw the start of four days of professional development teaching hosted by Bell Equine. This started with a meeting for vets and farriers focussing on the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot and lower limb, with an emphasis on how to manage common injuries and diseases though corrective shoeing.

Thursday 11th April sees the start of the three day ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) conference for equine vets. This year's focus is on diseases of the foot and pastern.

The main speaker at these international meetings is Professor Jean-Marie Denoix from France. Jean-Marie is a world-renowned expert on anatomy, biomechanics, diagnostic imaging and management of injuries of the horse's musculoskeletal system.

We welcome 70 vets from all round the world at the start of ISEP to participate in this high level course. We begin with two days of lectures and demonstrations at the Kent Event Centre, Delting, followed by a day of practical sessions hosted at Bell over the weekend.
