Covid19 update - 19.07.2021

Although the government will be making changes to to the official Covid regulations today (19.07.2021), we will not be changing any of our Covid related precautions.
We will continue to follow social distancing and mask wearing inside, and also outside where social distancing is not possible. We would ask that you continue to wear a mask and keep your distance, whenever possible. We will also be keeping the hospital buildings and exam rooms closed to visitors for now as an added precaution.
We're sure you will understand that, with the Covid infection rate rising rapidly again, we need to do everything we can to keep you and our teams safe.
Thank you for your continued support and if you have any concerns, we are always at the end of the phone.

Here is a reminder of our Covid guidance:

  • Please adhere to the 2m social distancing wherever possible
  • Please wear a mask at all times during the appointment, unless you are keeping your distance outside
  • Please keep to 1 handler per horse wherever possible
  • Please open gates where possible
  • Please have free running dogs either on a leash or put away for the visit
  • Please have your horse ready and waiting with their passport so we can minimise waiting time - we will try our hardest to call if we are running late
  • The hospital has opened up outside areas (trot up / school / barns) to visitors, but the main buildings and exam rooms remain closed
  • On arrival, please wear a mask at all times and use the hand sanitisers; ensure only 1 person enters reception at any one time; once announcing your arrival, please wait in your lorry to be met by a member of the team

We hope by taking these steps we can minimise the risk to all of us. Please stay safe and well and if you have any concerns, we're always at the end of a phone to help.
