Covid19 update - 17.03.2020

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - 17.03.2020:

Please be aware that we are open and running a FULL emergency service, but as the situation changes there will be some changes to routine appointments.

Coronavirus-COVID-19 is a concern for everyone and many people are wondering what this means for them and their pets.

There is no evidence of animals becoming unwell or transmitting the human COVID-19 strain. COVID-19 poses minimal risk to the majority of the population. However, we are introducing some basic measures in the interests of the wellbeing of our clients, their pets and our colleagues:

  • Please inform us immediately if you have any of symptoms associated with Covid19: persistent cough, high temperature or are in a situation where you or your family may need to self isolate, and we will re-book your appointment at an appropriate time
  • Please use hand sanitiser or hand-washing facilities upon entering the practice.
  • For routine appointments, where possible, please keep to one person per horse.
  • Team members will not greet or introduce themselves with a handshake and please try to observe the recommemded 2 meters social distancing.
  • Please continue to follow NHS advice found HERE.

If you are unsure as to how urgently you may need to see a vet, we are always happy to give advice over the phone, so if you have concerns, please call 01622 813700 and we will ask a vet to call you back.
