As of November 1st 2008, the regulations relating to veterinary prescriptions are changing.

We do not need to charge for prescriptions for medication that we dispense from our own pharmacy, but for written prescriptions that you use to obtain medicines elsewhere we will now be making a small charge.

• A prescription charge of £7.10 + VAT is applicable to all written prescriptions (including repeat prescriptions) to be paid for at the time of collection.

• This fee needs to be paid before the prescription is sent/collected

• Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you require a written prescription

• We can only provide prescriptions for individual animals under our care

• In most cases, we can only provide prescriptions if the animal has been examined by one of our vets within the previous 6 months
