Sweet Itch Trial
We are looking for horses/ponies with mild to moderate (not severe) cases of sweet itch to be involved in a new trial. This will start on 1st march 2010 and will involve giving an oral medication to your horse/pony and a free of charge visit from a vet every month throughout the trial to check on how the horse/pony is responding. The drug has already been used in human medicine with no known side effects. This is a controlled trial which means that some horses/ponies will be given a placebo drug and not the real thing.
