'Stamp out Strangles' talk

Bell Equine would like to invite you to an evening with Redwings Horse Sanctuary: 'Let’s “Stamp out Strangles” together'.

Date: Thursday 23rd May 2019

Venue: Hadlow College, Animal Management Centre, Ashes Lane, Hadlow, Kent (please note this is NOT the main college campus - access from Ashes Lane only).

Time: Doors open 6.30pm for 7pm start.

The evening will focus around the award winning ‘Stamp out Strangles’ campaign. The aim is to remove the stigma associated with the disease and will run through how to spot the early signs, how to set up an effective quarantine and will go on to discuss general effective bio-security protocols. Nic de Brauwere BVSc MRCVS from Redwings will be looking at yard protocols and what to do in the event of a strangles break out on your yard.

After the first talk there will be a brief interval for refreshments, a chance to enter our charity raffle and the opportunity to speak to our vets, nurses and redwings staff. The evening will end with a panel of vets on hand to answer any questions you have with regards to infectious diseases and how to manage them.

Tickets are £5p/p and 100% of proceeds will go to Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Places are limited and tickets are on a first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Call 01622 813700 or email reception to book your seat.
