Biosecurity: What would you do?

The UK's Equine Disease Coalition is looking for ways to help owners reduce the risk of the spread of infectious disease. They have asked for help from owners of horses, donkeys and ponies to complete their anonymous biosecurity survey.

Biosecurity describes the preventative measures and management practices that are in place to reduce the risk of infectious diseases spreading from infected animals to healthy ones.

By taking part in the short survey, you will be helping to gather better understanding into how biosecure we are as a nation of horse owners and more importantly, what we should be doing to improve management and care to better protect them from infectious disease.

All the results are completely anonymous; however the results and outcomes of the survey will be published and used to support future educational campaigns.

To take part in the survey, follow the link HERE.

The Coalition is also offering the chance to win a pair of Ariat Burford boots, so good luck to everyone and thank you for spending the time completing this valuable survey, which closes on the 30th July 2018.
